Mariposa County has three (3) COVID-19 Testing Sites, all sites are sponsored and funded by the State of California, Office of Emergency Services, and run by OptumServe.

  • Park & Ride parking lot, behind Rite Aide located at 4994 Joe Howard Street, open Tuesdays through Saturdays 7:00 - 11 am, 12 noon - 4:00 pm & 5:00 - 7:00 pm.  
    • NOTE: The testing site previously located at the Mariposa Senior Center at 5246 Spriggs Ln. Mariposa, CA 95338 has closed and has moved to the above Park & Ride location
  • Yosemite Medical Clinic at 9000 Ahwahnee Dr., Yosemite Valley, CA 95389, open Mondays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm & 3:00 - 6:00 pm. 
  • Curry Village Wellness Center at 8324 Sierra Circle, Yosemite Valley, CA 95389, open Thursdays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm & 3:00 - 6:00 pm.

Transportation Assistance to Testing Site: If you need assistance with transportation, please call 209-966-2000 and ask to speak with someone in Transportation.

at-home testing kits

Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order four (4) free at-home test kits. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days and can be requested by visiting COVIDtests.gov.

Additional Testing Resources

Mariposa County Unified School District (MCUSD) has testing available for students at locations around the county. Starting January 26th, testing will be expanded to include MCUSD students' parents/guardians as well as school volunteers. Learn more about testing through MCUSD here.

Additional testing options may be available at local pharmacies such as Rite Aid .

what to do if you are sick or test positive

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and are looking for information and guidance please review our Home Isolation Instructions for COVID-19

  • Stay home except to seek medical care
  • Separate yourself from other people - try to use a separate room and bathroom from others within the household
  • Wear a mask if you have to interact with others
  • Wash your hands often
  • Avoid sharing personal items
  • Clean high-touch surfaces daily
