PREA Classes
The Mariposa County Adult Detention Facility conducts PREA Classes.

Classes are 4 hours long. Preregistration for the class is required. Sign-ups close a week prior to scheduled class. To sign up for a class please email the PREA Trainer.
Online PREA Training
The Mariposa County Adult Detention Facility offers an alternative learning platform for PREA Certification. If you are interested in this option please follow the link below and follow through the presentation. After the presentation is completed, you must complete the PREA Certification Quiz to obtain certification.

Do I need PREA Training?
Anyone who may have contact with incarcerated persons in our facility needs to have attended a PREA Class to enter our facility with the exemption of the Inmates Attorney.
Contractors / Volunteer
If you are only entering our facility to do contracted work/repairs and will be accompanied by Jail Staff at all times a "Contractor/Volunteer PREA Education and Acknowledgment (PDF)" form needs to be submitted to the facility.
