If you are looking for your lost pet, visit our website at least once every day. To report a lost/found pet please call 209-966-3615. After speaking to an Animal Control Officer you can email Animal Control with photos of your lost/found. Please do not email photographs until you have spoken to an Animal Control Officer.
When an animal is impounded, it is checked for any form of visible identification, and scanned for a microchip. We make every attempt to trace the ID and notify the owner. Even if you have identification on your pet or a microchip implanted, do not depend on receiving a phone call. Collars and tags fall off and sometimes microchips are unreadable or untraceable.
