To protect the public from the hazard of dead trees, Darrah School Site is closed until the hazard can be mitigated.
As of Friday, August 19 2016, all hazard trees at the Darrah School site have been fallen. Starting Monday, August 22 clean-up and debrit removal will begin through cooperative efforts involving CalFire, Mt. Bullion CDC crews and Public Works staff. Once the clean-up is complete, Public Works staff will begin working to return the BBQ/playground area to a useable state. At this time, the project is on track to enable the Kiwanis Pre-School to start on time on September 6th.
Public Works apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding and cooperation, as the issue is addressed.
