Our hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, except legal holidays. On Mondays the office is closed to the public for regular business but inspections are conducted. There is a message machine to schedule inspections, leave messages, or ask questions.

Building Department description: The Building Department is responsible for enforcement of State and County laws concerning safety of structures. Enforcement includes inspecting buildings and structures to verify that construction or alteration work is performed according to approved plans and in accordance with the provisions of applicable codes; issuing orders required in enforcement; and issuing all permits required in the enforcement of the building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes. Among those permits issued by this department are building construction, manufactured home installation,  well, and septic permits.
