The Forum will be a discussion on non-combustion thermal, chemical, and biological alternatives to landfill disposal of residual materials that are not converted through recycling and composting markets.
2006-084 3/14/2006 Adopt the policy requiring Resource Conservation District pre-construction approval prior to the issuance of any habitable or non-habitable structure permits. The purpose for this policy is to ensure that all grading permits have been inspected and meet the soils testing requirements and erosion control measures mandated by the Grading Ordinance and provide an approved pad for future development. This would eliminate delays and costly repairs at the foundation/underground plumbing inspection stage.
2006-085 3/14/2006 Approve additional hours for an Extra-Help employee in Administration. An employee hired to assist with completing a back log of work caused by unanticipated vacancies and medical leaves is approaching the 999 hour limit. A significant portion of the back log has been completed but there is still a need for additional clerical work due to a newly hired employee still learning job responsibilities and another recent medical leave. The department is requesting an additional 350 hours to continue through the fiscal year. Sufficient funding was included for these hours in the Final Budget.

The proposed new method could significantly increase auto insurance rates in rural areas such as Mariposa County.
