Mariposa County Clerk serves as a Passport Acceptance Agency, where applications for a U.S. Passport may be submitted.

When applying for a passport:

It will take approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks from the date you submit your application to receive your passport. Make sure you check the U.S. Passport Website for current application time.

Currently, the total fees for a new passport book are $135. $110 must be in the form of a check or money order made out to the U.S. Department of State; $25 is payable to Mariposa County Clerk by cash, check or money order.
