The Cathey’s Valley fire company is located in the heart of Cathey’s Valley at McCay park. They provide primary coverage to Cathey’s Valley and Hornitos and secondary coverage to Mariposa, Mt Bullion/Airport, Don Pedro and Mormon Bar companies. They have a fire engine, patrol and water tender assigned to the company. They also have the Jaws of Life carried on the patrol.
