Personnel staff is responsible for various human resource programs, including:
- Maintaining and updating the position classification system
- Conducting recruitments to fill vacant positions
- Making recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding compensation
- Maintaining personnel records
Risk Management Responsibilities
Staff is also responsible for the risk management function of the County that includes all general insurance programs as well as the County’s Liability and Workers’ Compensation programs.
