Mariposa County is fortunate to have Connections Emergency Shelter, an Alliance for Community Transformations (Alliance4community.org) subsidiary. The Connections Emergency Shelter Program provides a respectful, responsible, and safe low-barrier emergency housing shelter working to help the houseless of Mariposa get back home.

Connections dedicated staff members provide intensive case management to help those experiencing a housing crisis identify the barriers to housing and help them become linked to the services they want and need. We strive to understand the unique circumstances that brought a person to houselessness and to find a solution that best meets that person's needs for obtaining sustainable housing. There is no one size fits all solution to houselessness. Everyone has a story and needs to be heard.
