Participants in WtW come to the program with different levels of education and experience. For many participants, one of the fist steps involves taking part in an educational component.
Through partnerships with various community agencies, participants may take part in classes for English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Basic Education, and General Education Development. By learning to communicate in English and by achieving a high school degree, participants will be much more likely to find employment and remain employed. For those participants who already have a diploma or equivalent, the first step after assessment may be attending a junior college.
