Business Office

The Mariposa County Sheriff's Department Business Office is our newest office located at 5284 Hwy 49 N in Mariposa.  The office will be open Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Civil Processing- Persons can drop off civil papers directly to the office or in our drop box for after hours. Civils' can also be mailed to PO Box 276, Mariposa, CA 95338.  Civil processes with incomplete instructions or lack of proper payment will not be processed until the errors are corrected.  Please make sure you include a valid contact number with your instructions. Letter of Instruction to the Sheriff (PDF)

Dispatch

The Mariposa Sheriff's Department Dispatch Center is located at 4963 10th Street in Mariposa, which is located directly across from the Mariposa Sheriff's Department Administration Building. You can telephone the Dispatch Center at 209-966-3614. All 911 calls for Mariposa County are first received at this location.
