Checklists, Standards, and Application
TOT Operator Annual Requirement
Mariposa County Code §17.108.180 establishes an annual Self-inspection requirement for residential TOT business operators. Each facility shall be inspected by the operator to verify that the standards of the checklist in place at the time of the application are being maintained; a Self-inspection Compliance Report shall be completed on an approved form by April 30 each year.
You will be self-certifying to the standards of the date you applied. You can find the standards checklist here. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure compliance. Failure to self-report may result in revocation of your Transient Occupancy Tax certificate.
2018 Self-report is due April 30, 2018, for the period from May 1, 2017 - April 30, 2018
